BIM Technician
Job description

Work under direction of BIM project manager.

Ensure BIM Modeling accuracy with as-constructed conditions.

Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.

Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.

Work as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results
-
Support the project teams in developing the best BIM workflow for VR, cost, scheduling and asset management goals.

Content creation: Families such as parametric, formula, nested and type catalogs.
-
Lead development of some discipline specific Revit family objects.
-
High level of communication and good writing skills.
-
May develop BIM Models for specific design discipline.

Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to ensure model quality and metadata input/output
-
Support virtual reality experiences for design stakeholders
-
Identify elements that are out of place using virtually walks throughs.
Desired skills and expertise:
-
Associate Degree or two years of college training or equivalent
-
Knowledge of REVIT® is a plus but not required.

Proficiency in GSuite apps and Excel is required.

General understanding of interoperability between software used to create virtual reality/ augmented reality experiences, metadata transfer is a plus but not required.

Familiarity and experience in working with others discipline teams such as: architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing is preferred.
