BIM Technician Intern
The Role
We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented BIM Technician Intern to join our team. This
isn't just a "coffee-run" internship—you’ll be diving deep into the digital lifecycle of the built
environment.
You will learn how to manage complex 3D models, automate workflows via APIs, and bridge the
gap between traditional BIM and the future of Digital Twins.
What You’ll Be Doing
During this internship, you will gain knowledge over the following core areas:
-
3D Modeling & Refinement: Use Autodesk Revit to create, upgrade, and maintain
high-fidelity 3D models of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing
elements. -
Data Orchestration: Learn to manipulate and upgrade large data sets within models to
ensure information accuracy and digital twin readiness. -
Cloud Collaboration: Get hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud
(ACC), managing model versions and coordinating multidisciplinary 3D models in a live
CDE (Common Data Environment). -
Digital Twin Migration: Assist in the sophisticated process of migrating BIM data into
Digital Twin platforms, turning static models into living, data-driven assets. -
BIM Automation: Explore the "under the hood" side of Revit by using the Revit API to
programmatically generate models and automate repetitive tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
We aren't looking for an expert, but we are looking for someone with the willingness to learn:
-
The Basics: Aspires to be in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management,
or a related Computer Science field. -
Software Interest: A strong desire to master Autodesk Revit. Any prior exposure to
Revit and AutoCAD is a plus. -
The "Data" Mindset: You enjoy organizing information and understand that a BIM
model is only as good as the data behind it. -
Tech Curiosity: Interest in digital twin workflows and working with Revit API or
web-based quality control platforms. -
Problem Solver: You don’t just see a modeling error; you want to figure out why it
happened and how to automate the fix. -
Work Hours: Must be available to work for 35 to 40 hrs per week from June 1st to July
30th 2026.
Internship Perks
-
Mentorship: Work directly alongside Senior Consultant.
-
Cutting-Edge Tech: Gain experience with the latest in Digital Twin technology and API
integration. -
Portfolio Building: Walk away with tangible experience in the full BIM lifecycle, from
initial 3D model creation to digital handover for our silicon valley clients. -
Paid Internship: Earn $20/hr
-
Location: Work in PG in a home office setting
